Cardio: Getting Toned

In response to jackums comment on getting toned and losing belly fat any cardio will do. Even without cardio equipment it is still possible to lose belly fat. Yoga has been proven to be a great way to stay in shape, also walking more often can work great. The thing to remember is that your diet will in the end determine whether or not you lose your gut or not. So first get a healthy meal plan and combined with the yoga you will achieve a toned belly.

My fiance and I are in our first month of weight-lifting, working out, cardio, etc. I'm an ex kick-boxer and he's just a big guy. Anyway, I like to eat and he doesn't.....don't you think eating is as important as the work you do to your body??? Help me here. It's an ongoing argument.

EAting right is definitly a major part of being healthy. Personally, with my body I can lift or do whatever but if I dont eat right I dont see any results.
I know a guy I used to work with who was really into his body and weightlifting, he had ths strickest diet I have ever seen. The guy was huge and ate like a horse, but he always ate balanced, healthy meals.

Just lifting won't help you to lose weight. I think a lot of guys focus more on muscle building than they do losing excess fat.

Although I don't think you can use fasting as a diet or weight loss program, I do feel that it can be a great start to a proper weight loss diet and exercise program. I think it is definitely something that everyone should do at least once a year.
